MetzRemote offers the familiar ease of use found in Metz products, now available on your smartphone or tablet.

• Designed to work seamlessly with Metz Classic TV models under types "TY," "TX," and "TW" such as Lunis, Topas, Aurus, Fineo, Alegra, Taris, Cubus, Calea, Micos, Novum, Planea, Pureo, Clarea, Merio Media Z, Solea, Solea Pro, and Primus 550. Note that compatibility and functionality may vary with earlier network-enabled models.
• This app is not compatible with Metz Blue devices (identified by a blue Metz icon).

For optimal performance, we recommend updating your TV software.

Short instruction:

• Your mobile device and your Metz TV should be connected to the same network.
• In your Metz TV Menu under Network/Local services, activate "Allow MetzRemote" app.

The MetzRemote app offers various functions:

NEW:

• Mediaserver: Enable in your Metz TV Menu under Network/Local Services by allowing the Mediaplayer and setting Media Server to Active state. - Stream local pictures, videos, and music on your Metz TV. - View PVR recordings, Live-TV, or media from other DLNA servers on your mobile device*.

Remote Control:

• Access up to 30 TV shortcut functions of your choice. - Navigate stations and favorite lists easily. - Input text on your TV directly with your mobile keyboard. - Save and open websites on your Metz-TV.

EPG- Electronic Programme Guide:

• View current and upcoming programs from your favorite list. - Set reminders or schedule recordings for programs.

Internet Timer:

• Create records conveniently using this web-app.

Station Editor:

• Edit your station table effortlessly. Move, rename, or remove stations using the Station Editor feature on your smartphone and synchronize changes with the TV set.

Wake On LAN:

• Start network devices from standby using this function. It supports devices compliant with the Wake On LAN standard, not limited to only Metz TV sets.

Useful hints:

#Remote Control:

• Adjust button size in the main view with two-finger zoom input. - Access additional buttons not visible in the main view via the button at the bottom right.

#Station Editor:

• Synchronize modified station tables with caution as it overrides the TV set's table. Backup your station table using the export function of the TV set to avoid data loss. - Long-pressing a station list entry triggers station movement. You can move multiple selected stations at once. - The additional editing mode lets you move, remove or rename stations.

#EPG:

• - Sync app with current EPG events by clicking the 'sync' button/icon in the navigation bar. - Select individual events from EPG for recording or reminders. Find additional program information here. - Assign a favorite list for EPG events in settings. - Ensure you connect a storage device for recordings.

#Wake On LAN:

• - Tap a list item to send a wakeup signal. - Long-press an entry to edit or remove it. - If devices don't respond to wakeup signals, check if they are in standby mode, on the correct Wi-Fi network, or recheck MAC addresses.
